Alden Kay

Vice President Quality, Regulatory and Clinical

Alden Kay joined ImpediMed in October 2009. Alden has over thirty years of experience with quality systems, regulatory requirements and manufacturing in the medical device industry, including:

• Senior Director of Regulatory and Quality, Endocare, Inc., a leading manufacturer of cryosurgical equipment.
• Director of Regulatory and Quality, Instromedix, a manufacturer of trans-telephonic ECG and pacemaker monitoring equipment.
• Vice President of Manufacturing, DynaMed, a market leader of emergency rescue and paramedic equipment, where he also had responsibility for Quality, Regulatory, and Research and Development.
• Various positions within divisions of American Hospital Supply/Baxter, including Intramed Laboratories, American Edwards Laboratories, and Bentley Laboratories.
• Previous background in the aerospace industry.

Alden is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach, with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. His professional certifications include Certified Six Sigma Engineer and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
