These websites are owned, operated by, and fully funded by ImpediMed Limited and its subsidiaries’, ImpediMed, Inc. and XiTRON Technologies, Inc, collectively called “ImpediMed”. Some video participants and experts who respond to questions on the ImpediMed and L-Dex websites have received consulting fees and/or out-of-pocket expense reimbursement from ImpediMed.

We provide the following voluntary disclosure of payments made to healthcare professionals who have contributed to our websites:

Charles L. McGarvey PT, MS, DPT, FAPTA, who appears in videos for L-Dex.com, is a principal of CLM Consulting Services LLC, a Maryland company. ImpediMed pays consulting fees to CLM Consulting Services LLC.

Stanley G. Rockson, MD, Chief of Consultative Cardiology at Stanford University, has not received any compensation for his work on the videos that appear on our website but has received out-of-pocket expense reimbursement for actual travel expenses incurred related to either filming the video or speaking engagements on ImpediMed’s behalf. Additionally, Stanford University receives an unrestricted grant from ImpediMed.

Other contributors who have not received any compensation or expense reimbursement from ImpediMed include Dr. Eric Whitacre and individuals who share their survivor stories.

When a video appears on a social networking site, apart from the ImpediMed and L-Dex websites, you will generally see "Sponsored by ImpediMed" with the video so the relationship between the video and ImpediMed is clear and transparent. Some alternative ways in which this may be communicated include, without limitation: "Brought to you by ImpediMed", "Support provided by ImpediMed", or "Funded by ImpediMed". There may also be a hyperlink to this "Our Sponsor" page depending on the mechanics of the social networking site, and the feasibility of including a hyperlink. Participants Users of ImpediMed.com who participate on the website through, for example, the “Tell Your Story” or “Ask an Expert” sections of ImpediMed.com receive no monetary compensation or remuneration of any kind for sharing their stories and information or other discussion activities with other participants or clinician experts.

Websites that are linked to ImpediMed, L-Dex, third party blogs and blog writers, as well as users on social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, or “likes”, etc. and links to other social networking sites receive no compensation or remuneration of any kind from ImpediMed.
